The athletic village is located in the very center of the dynamically developing Alatau region. The construction of the residential complex is timed to coincide with the 2017 Universiade held in Almaty. The complex was built as a place of temporary residence for the participants of the Universiade with the subsequent transfer of apartments to new owners

The master plan of residential buildings is designed in the form of the letter “U”, which symbolizes the emblem of the games U17 (universiada 2017). The complex consists of 14 separate houses, 10 of them are located in the same U-shape and are connected by a common 2-storey building, which was transferred for commercial and government purposes. On the opposite side from the center of the 10-story buildings are four 14-story buildings with a central 3-story building with a massive pyramid on the roof. This 3-story building was the central gathering place for the participants in the games. In addition, the complex is marked by thoughtful landscape design and a vast area in the middle of the complex.

Residential complex
