Similarly as with Elite projects, Academy-2 is a natural continuation of the first Academy-1, which was completed just a year earlier.

As with other objects built by the company in quarters along Valikhanov Street, which is one of the historical center of the city, the harmony of the streets and the logical fit of the buildings were taken into account, taking into account such important factors as the height and facade of the building.

On a small plot of just 50 by 50 meters square, a monolithic 9-storey house was successfully raised.

If we consider blueprints of the house, it reminds a square “Fort” with narrow rounded towers in each corner. This solution gives special charm to the building and made it possible to hide the sharp corners which now consist of round towers. Therefore house was turned by 45 degrees from the pedestrian zone, rather being parallel to alley.
